Our main campus is in Fort Collins, CO at 425 John Deere Dr. #3, conveniently located off I-25. We also offer mobile training programs throughout Colorado and Wyoming.

Programs & Training
What CDL programs do you offer?
We offer CDL Class A, Class B, and Class C training, including Passenger and School Bus endorsements. We also provide refresher and corporate training options.
How long does it take to get my CDL?
Class A: About 3–4 weeks
Class B: As little as 3 days
Passenger/Bus: 3–4 days
Refresher courses: Customized by experience level
Do you teach on manual or automatic transmissions?
Both! Students can choose to train and test on manual or automatic equipment.
Can I test at NCTDA after training?
Absolutely — we’re a state-certified CDL testing center, so you can train and test in the same location.
What’s included in the tuition?
Tuition covers classroom theory, range and road instruction, use of our trucks for testing, and full job placement support.
Do you offer weekend or evening classes?
We primarily run weekday classes but occasionally offer flexible schedules depending on demand — call us to discuss availability.
Enrollment & Requirements
What do I need before enrolling?
You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. We’ll help you schedule everything.
Do I need a CDL permit before I start?
Not necessarily! We can help you prepare for and obtain your permit before your course begins with our permit course.
What age do I need to be to enroll?
You must be 18 or older to drive intrastate (within Colorado) and 21 or older for interstate driving.
How do I enroll?
Simply call, text or email our office — our friendly team will guide you step-by-step through enrollment, scheduling, and financing options.
Is there an enrollment deadline?
Classes fill quickly, so early registration is recommended. New CDL A classes typically start every 2–3 weeks.
Financial Assistance
Do you accept financial aid or grants?
Yes! We work closely with local Workforce Centers through the WIOA Grant program and are approved for GI Bill® / VA benefits.
Can I make payment arrangements?
Yes, we offer simple payment plans to help students manage tuition costs.
Does NCTDA offer employer-sponsored training?
Many of our partner trucking companies reimburse tuition or pre-hire students directly — we’ll help assist with match you with one.
After Graduation
Will NCTDA help me find a job after graduation?
Yes — our graduates gain access to our exclusive 65+ vetted employer referral list, including local and national carriers.
What kind of pay can I expect after getting my CDL?
Most of our graduates start between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, and with benefits.
Do you offer refresher or return-to-industry programs?
Yes! Whether you’re re-entering the trucking industry or need to brush up on skills, we offer custom refresher training for all CDL’s.
Can NCTDA train my company’s employees?
Absolutely — we provide on-site corporate CDL training and testing for municipalities and businesses across Colorado and Wyoming.
Testing & Certification
Is the CDL test hard?
Not with us! Our instructors prepare you thoroughly for every portion — written, pre-trip, skills, and road tests.
Can I test at NCTDA if I trained somewhere else?
Yes — outside tests are welcome, we even offer rentals.
What if I don’t pass the CDL test on the first try?
We’ll work with you on targeted re-training and schedule a re-test quickly so you can succeed.
