NCTDA has successfully provided CDL training to hundreds of employees from businesses and municipalities. We understand that time and efficiency are both critical when it comes to workforce training—but it also needs to be done right.

Our CDL courses are the ideal blend of efficient and thorough, honed over our two decades training teams of drivers. The courses are designed for small groups of 2 to 3 employees at a time. Training is scheduled in advance based on availability, and we bring the training to you. All sessions are conducted at your location using your vehicles, so no time is wasted having to translate lessons to different or non-applicable vehicle types.

Traveling Introduction to Tractor-Trailer Driving

Small Group Format: 2–3 Students Required

This hands-on, two-week course brings expert CDL instruction directly to your site. Ideal for companies within a 5-hour radius of Fort Collins, CO, training is conducted at your location using your company’s vehicle and lot.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and permit for each participant
DOT medical exam
Online theory course certificate of completion
Company-provided tractor-trailer and training lot

Led by an experienced instructor, this course delivers efficient, on-site training tailored to your team’s needs.

Traveling Introduction to CDL B Driving

Group Size: 2–3 Students Required

This 4-day on-site training course is designed for businesses within a 5-hour radius of Fort Collins, CO. An experienced instructor will come to your location to provide practical, hands-on instruction using your company’s vehicle and lot.

Course Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and CDL B permit for each participant
DOT medical exam
Online theory course certificate of completion
Company-provided vehicle and training lot

Passenger and School Bus endorsements are also available upon request.

Hot Shot Driver Training Course

Small Group Format: 1–2 Students Only

This 3-day course offers focused, hands-on training designed specifically for Hot Shot drivers. Training is conducted at your location, using your company’s vehicle and training lot.

Course Requirements:

Valid driver’s license for each participant
DOT medical exam
Online theory course certificate of completion
Company-provided vehicle and training lot

Current/New Hire Driver Road Test Evaluations

For 1–3 Employees | By Appointment Only

Do you have a DOT# and need to evaluate pre-hires or current employees for insurance or compliance purposes? Our CDL Road Test Evaluations are designed to meet your company’s needs with efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Valid CDL driver’s license
Current DOT medical exam certificate
Company-provided vehicle for the evaluation
Each evaluation lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a certificate of completion for your records.

Evaluations are scheduled upon request, based on instructor availability
